The multiplier event “Apprendere tra le gener-azioni” (Learning between generations) related to the Erasmus + project “Generations in Interaction” took place in Italy on 6th November 2020, online on the platform Go-to-meeting, according to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19.
The event was attended by 52 participants, the majority being employees at the educational services. Most of the participants work in services located in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto: these different regions have a lot of services, dedicated to early childhood, elderly, people from other countries, refugees and adult with disabilities. The educators are involved in activities that connected different generations and projects carried out in local communities, also promoting the encounter between different cultures.
The event was introduced by a general presentation of the project (partner consortium, general goals, methodologies, …) using moreover the short video clips produced by the partners.
A particular focus was dedicated to the presentation of the Intellectual Outputs: the training guide; the website of the project; the model of intergenerational center and the learning platform. All the participants showed great interest in the Project, in particular about the training of an “intergenerational educator”. A few days after the multiplier event we sent each participant a short report of the meeting with useful links to learn more about the “Ge&In” Project.re
